Ms. Cappiello brings 20 years of experience, including more than 10 years as a senior human capital executive at leading investment management firms. Most recently, she served as Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at Madison Dearborn Partners, where she oversaw the company’s talent efforts, including recruiting, employee relations and diversity initiatives. equity and inclusion.

Previously, Ms. Cappiello was Head of Human Capital Management and Assistant General Counsel for BlueMountain Capital Management. Prior to joining BlueMountain, Ms. Cappiello was a human resources manager at Chilton Investment Company and previously led the on-campus legal recruitment effort at Sullivan & Cromwell. She began her career as a litigator at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
Ms. Cappiello earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Politics from New York Universityand a Juris Doctor of Harvard Law School. She was named to Hedge Fund Journal’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2018. Currently, Ms. Cappiello serves on the advisory board of Behind the Book, a nonprofit literacy organization focused on supporting New York City public school students.
